Where it all began
A Light Named Lyka
Luminarra Academy was born from a deeply personal journey. It began with Lyka — a bright, beautiful child with special needs whose spirit lit up every room she entered.
Her mother saw what many parents of children with diverse learning needs see: a world that wasn't quite ready for her child. Schools that couldn't accommodate. Therapists that were too far away. Programs that separated instead of included.
So she built something different. A place where children like Lyka — and every child — could learn, grow, and shine together. Where education and therapy weren't separate paths but one integrated journey.
The name ‘Luminarra’ comes from the Latin word ‘lumen’ — light. And in our logo, the letters L-Y-K-A are hidden in the design: a tribute to the child who started it all.
